EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY FORM 

The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS) has chosen to utilize an option available through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program called Non-Recurrent Short-Term Benefits that provides benefits to families in emergency or time of crisis.

 

(ADWS) has procured the Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area for this program to serve individuals in Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski (outside City of Little Rock), and Saline counties.

In order to qualify, you must:

  • be eligible for state or federal unemployment benefits with a weekly benefit amount of less than $100 and 

  • be a custodial parent with a child under the age of 18 or a woman who is currently pregnant; and

  • have a family income less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level; and

  • have a demonstrated need that can be verified through documentation.
