Free 2nd Annual Compassion Project- Community Resource Fair to be held April 6 in Little Rock

Compassionately Connected for Veterans Inc. invites veterans, their families, and the community to attend their second annual Community Resource Fair on Saturday, April 6 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, located at 10900 N. Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.


The free event includes access to resources, giveaways, fitness, health screenings, face painting, make-and-takes, lunch, and a kids zone.

The Compassion Project Free Community Resource Fair


The resource fair is sponsored by Compassionately Connected for Veterans, Inc., Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, US Bank, Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield, and First Security Bank.


The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, UAMS,

2-1-1 Arkansas, United Way, American Indian Center of Arkansas, Arkansas Secretary of State's Office, Alzheimer's Association, APC Fitness, Gentle Touch Homecare, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, Sage Health, Arkansas Division of Workforce Services, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Engaging Arkansas Communities, St. Francis House, Inc. and their Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Veterans Crisis Line, Shorter College, Bledsoe Chiropractic, HouseAboutIt Community & Economic Development Agency, Arkansas Aging Wiser, Central Arkansas Development Council, Ask Victoria, Engaging Arkansas Communities, OperationRestore, Arkansas Medicare Resource Center, and More Chances Period will be some of the vendors at the event.
