Students at Des Arc High School will have the opportunity to explore career options and connect with employers during an upcoming Job & Resource Fair scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Des Arc High School Gymnasium, located at 601 Main Street in Des Arc.
The event is designed specifically for Des Arc juniors and seniors, providing them with a valuable opportunity to meet with local and regional employers, learn about current job openings, and gain insight into potential career paths. In addition to employment opportunities, students will also be able to discover helpful community resources and programs that support workforce development and career readiness.
Representatives from a variety of organizations and businesses will be on hand to speak with students about job opportunities, workplace expectations, and training programs. The event also aims to help students begin building their professional networks while learning more about the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in today’s workforce.
The Job & Resource Fair is presented by Central Arkansas Workforce and Arkansas Workforce Centers, in partnership with American Job Centers. Organizers say the event is part of an ongoing effort to connect students with real-world opportunities and provide them with the tools they need to transition successfully from school into the workforce.
