The Arkansas Department of Commerce, in partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, has announced that Arkansas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 4.1% in November, up from 3.9% in September.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is once again offering free, IRS-certified tax preparation services to individuals and families earning $69,000 or less per year from January 28 through April 1 at 1107 Main St. in Conway.
