The Arkansas Department of Corrections will hold a job fair at the Arkansas Workforce- North Little Rock office at 324 W. Pershing Blvd. Ste. 1, on Thursday, May 16.

A representative of the Arkansas Department of Corrections will be at the job fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.


The Department of Corrections is currently hiring for an ADC/DCC Corporal at the Tucker Maximum Security Unit.


The anticipated starting salary for the ADC/DCC Corporal is $45,180.80, according to the job posting on the arcareers site. The Arkansas Department of Correction/Department of Community Correction (ADC/DCC) Corporal is responsible for maintaining security and directing the activities of inmates/residents during an assigned shift or observing the behavior of inmates/residents and documenting records. The position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Applicants must have the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of experience in correctional security or law enforcement. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the basic requirements, except for the certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
