TRIO and Apprenticely to host 'Taste Testing I.T.' Career Exploration Workshop

Community members interested in exploring careers in technology are invited to attend Taste Testing I.T.: Exploring I.T. Careers, a free introductory workshop designed for beginners.
TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers has partnered with Apprenticely to offer this informative and engaging session aimed at helping individuals discover opportunities in the growing field of Information Technology.
Organizers encourage partners, community agencies, and supporters to share this opportunity with contacts and clients who may be interested in pursuing a career in I.T.
The workshop will provide participants with a clear overview of various technology career pathways and insight into how to get started—no prior experience required. Attendees will learn about Apprenticely’s free I.T. apprenticeship opportunities, receive practical resume tips tailored specifically for tech roles, and gain a better understanding of the importance of networking within the technology industry.
The session is ideal for students, adult learners, and career explorers considering a new or different professional path. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a stronger understanding of potential next steps toward entering the tech workforce.
Taste Testing I.T. will take place on March 5, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 5820 Asher Avenue, Suite 800, Little Rock, AR 72204. Dinner will be provided for attendees.
In addition to valuable career information, participants who register and attend will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card, along with other prizes and giveaways.
