US Congressman French Hill supports the National Guard and Reserve Members

Members of the Central Area Workforce Development Team, including Shawntel Robinson, Business Service Team Coordinator, and Bruce Davis, Disabled Veteran Representative, had the opportunity to attend a Veterans outreach at the Museum of Veterans and Military History in Vilonia, AR on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

There was a fantastic opportunity to interact with veterans, listen to their stories, and provide information to them. Additionally, US Congressman French Hill was present, and AR ESGR Central Area Chair Shawntel Robinson presented Congressman Hill with a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve, as well as discussed the Business Service Team and the services provides to employers.

"The Statement of Support Program is the cornerstone of ESGR's effort to gain and retain employer support for the Guard and Reserves," Robinson explained. ESGR creates and promotes supportive work environments for Reserve Component service members through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that raise awareness of applicable laws and resolve employer conflicts between service members and their employers.
