The Arkansas Department of Commerce, in partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, announced that Arkansas’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.7% in July.

The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD) has announced two upcoming meetings scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the CAPDD Office, located at 902 North Center Street, Lonoke, Arkansas.

The Conway Housing Authority, in partnership with the Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area and the Arkansas Workforce Centers, will host a community-wide Job Fair on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Job seekers interested in joining one of the nation’s leading employers will have the opportunity to learn more about Amazon’s career opportunities during a virtual information session on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from noon to 1 p.m. CST.

The training series will be held September 22–25, 2025, and is open to regional prevention providers, Drug-Free Communities (DFC) partners, Partnerships for Success (PFS) partners, coalition members, task force representatives, and other community stakeholders.

The event will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library, located at 1900 Tyler Street in Conway.

Residents of Conway and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to receive free legal assistance during an upcoming Civil Legal Clinic hosted by Legal Aid of Arkansas. The event will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library, located at 1900 Tyler Street, Conway, Arkansas.
