UA-Little Rock MidSOUTH Center offers free Virtual Prevention Training Opportunities September 22–25

UA-Little Rock MidSOUTH Center for Prevention and Training, in partnership with Prevention Training Services, is providing a week of valuable virtual training opportunities designed to strengthen prevention strategies, workforce resilience, and community collaboration. The training series will be held September 22–25, 2025, and is open to regional prevention providers, Drug-Free Communities (DFC) partners, Partnerships for Success (PFS) partners, coalition members, task force representatives, and other community stakeholders.
Participants will gain practical skills and strategies to address pressing issues such as opioid misuse, workforce burnout, coalition building, and sustainability.
The sessions are structured to offer both morning and afternoon workshops, giving attendees flexibility to join multiple sessions throughout the week.
Training Schedule:
Monday, September 22
9 a.m.–12 p.m. – Addressing Opioid Overdose: Understanding the Role in Prevention
1–4 p.m. – Real-Time Resilience: Nervous System-Based Training for Workforce Retention & Burnout Prevention
Tuesday, September 23
9 a.m.–12 p.m. – Tactical Capacity: Doing More with Less Without Burning Out
1–4 p.m. – Sustainability: Now for the Future & Capacity: Building Coalitions That Last
Wednesday, September 24
9 a.m.–12 p.m. – Pathways to Prevention: Building Your Skills, Strategy, and Success
1–4 p.m. – The Engagement Blueprint: Building Stronger Coalitions
Thursday, September 25
9 a.m.–12 p.m. – Community Connections
1–4 p.m. – Design with Purpose: Building Presentations That Stick
