The event, organized as a community outreach initiative by United Way of White County, aims to raise awareness about the mental health challenges veterans face and provide valuable information, resources, and support to veterans, their families, and the broader community.

This important forum is free, open to the public, and will include lunch for registered participants. Because lunch will be provided, pre-registration is required. Community members interested in attending can register online at the organization’s website.

The forum will offer an opportunity for attendees to learn more about recognizing warning signs, understanding available support systems, and exploring ways the community can play a role in suicide prevention efforts among veterans. It also serves as a platform to connect veterans and their families with local resources and services designed to promote mental wellness and recovery.

Organizers encourage veterans, family members, service providers, and anyone interested in supporting the well-being of those who have served to attend this informative and meaningful event.
