Whether you're an adult seeking new job skills, a young person exploring career paths, or a worker recently laid off, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs offer tailored support to help you succeed in today’s job market.

Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs
The Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs offer a wide range of services designed to help individuals gain meaningful employment and advance their careers. Key offerings include:
Occupational and On-the-Job Training: Gain hands-on experience and develop specialized skills in real-world settings.
Registered Apprenticeships and Workplace Training: Receive industry-recognized training that prepares you for long-term employment.
Incumbent Worker and Customized Employer Training: Upgrade your skills or transition into new roles with employer-supported training programs.
Entrepreneurial and Job Readiness Training: Learn to start your own business or improve your readiness for the job market.
Adult Education and Literacy: Improve foundational skills, including English language acquisition and integrated education programs.
These services are available to those who are unemployed through no fault of their own, including individuals affected by business closures, layoffs, or those who are self-employed, displaced homemakers, or spouses of active-duty military personnel.
Youth Program
The Youth Program targets young people in need of educational support and work experience. It offers:
Tutoring, Dropout Prevention, and Alternative School Services: Designed to keep youth on a path to graduation and employment.
Work Experience and Skills Training: Both paid and unpaid opportunities to build job skills.
Leadership and Mentoring Opportunities: Develop essential life skills through adult mentorship and leadership programs.
Supportive and Counseling Services: Includes comprehensive guidance, financial literacy education, and post-secondary preparation.
Labor Market Information and Career Planning: Learn about in-demand careers and how to pursue them.
