The Central Arkansas workforce community is celebrating the achievements of Emilee Thomas, a recent success story of the Adult Training Program.
Referred by Lonoke Adult Education, Emilee connected with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program, which provided the support she needed to pursue higher education and career training. With WIOA’s assistance, she enrolled at the Arkansas College of Health Careers, where she completed her studies and earned her certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).

Today, Emilee is utilizing her skills in the healthcare field. She is now employed full-time at KIDS Unlimited in Cabot, Arkansas, where she serves children and families in her community.
Her journey is a shining example of how workforce programs and community partnerships empower individuals to reach their goals, improve their lives, and strengthen the local economy.
Congratulations to Emilee on her hard work and accomplishments!
