About the Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives Initiative

Arkansas consistently ranks near the bottom in national oral health indicators, highlighting a pressing need for change. The Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives initiative was created to better understand and address these challenges.

Through a partnership between the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation and the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, the project embarked on a statewide listening tour to collect stories, data, and insights from communities across Arkansas. In collaboration with Reimagine Arkansas and the Visionairi Foundation, these experiences were transformed into a short documentary capturing the real voices of Arkansans and their journeys toward better oral health.

The documentary will make its official premiere at the Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives Film Screening and Health Fair on November 21, 2025, at the Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock.
