After 4 years of loyal service, Rex Ingle was dislocated from his job when his company had a layoff. Committed to finding a more stable career path, Rex contacted the Arkansas Workforce Center in Brinkley and began to explore his interest in the transportation sector with One-Stop Manager, Dorine Smith.
Shortly after, Rex enrolled in the occupational skills training component of the WIOA Dislocated Worker Program and began his 4 week training program at the Level1 Driving Academy in Beebe, Arkansas.
On May 16, 2019, he received his diploma and his Commercial Driver’s License and is now driving for a local company, Brewer and Sons in Brinkley, Arkansas.
Overall, Rex is grateful for the opportunity he was given through the WIOA Dislocated Worker Program, which allowed him to embark on a new and rewarding career in the transportation industry.
