Saline County Warming Center scheduled to open in Benton

The Saline County Warming Center will open its doors to the community beginning Friday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m., providing a safe, warm place for individuals in need during the cold weather. The center will remain open through Thursday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m.
The warming center will be located at Northside Church of Christ, 917 N. East Street in Benton, conveniently situated next door to Saline Memorial Hospital. The facility is committed to offering a welcoming and secure environment for guests during extreme winter conditions.
Community support plays a vital role in the operation of the warming center. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up to assist with services, meals, and support throughout the week. Those interested in volunteering can visit tinyurl.com/scwarming or scan the provided QR code for more information.
Donations are also needed to help cover food and security costs.
