As the demand for energy-efficient and environmentally conscious HVAC systems continues to grow across Arkansas, one company is making a significant impact, both in the field and in the community. EcoPump HVAC, LLC, a residential and commercial service provider based in the Little Rock metro area, is at the forefront of eco-friendly heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. This month, the company is featured in the “Success Spotlight” for its strong partnership with Arkansas Workforce Services and its commitment to workforce development.

Arkansas is seeing a surge in HVAC demand, spurred by new construction, population growth, and a growing focus on sustainability. As more homeowners and businesses prioritize energy efficiency, the need for skilled HVAC technicians has become critical. Aging systems require frequent maintenance, and environmentally friendly solutions are becoming the norm, making trained professionals more valuable than ever.

EcoPump HVAC is at the forefront of meeting these needs. Specializing in the installation and maintenance of high-efficiency systems, the company provides services across central Arkansas with the capability for statewide installations.

To keep pace with growth, EcoPump HVAC partnered with the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS), which referred the business to the Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area. Through this collaboration, EcoPump gained access to a variety of Workforce Services programs and hiring support.
Since 2024, this partnership has resulted in the successful onboarding of four new team members—including a Dispatcher, an HVAC Technician, and two HVAC Apprentices. These hires reflect the strong outcomes of local workforce initiatives, connecting skilled job seekers with high-demand career opportunities.
Businesses like EcoPump HVAC play a vital role in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). They participate in workforce development boards, collaborate with educational institutions, and engage in partnerships to create targeted training programs. Many also utilize One-Stop/American Job Centers to hire talent and share their skill requirements with the workforce system.

Kelly Hollis, Owner of EcoPump HVAC, emphasized the deeper mission behind their efforts:
“At EcoPump HVAC, LLC we believe that creating real economic opportunity begins with hands-on training and second chances. Our partnership with Arkansas Workforce Services has empowered us to hire and train individuals from all walks of life, including reentry citizens, and turn them into highly skilled HVAC professionals. We’re not just building careers; we’re building legacies and changing lives.”
EcoPump HVAC’s journey underscores the power of public-private partnerships in workforce development. By investing in talent and embracing inclusive hiring practices, the company is helping shape a stronger, more resilient workforce in Arkansas.
