For more than half a century, Arkansas Baptist College's Adult Education program has been a beacon of opportunity in Central Arkansas—helping adults gain the education, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their goals.
Located in the heart of Little Rock, the program operates from two campuses:
Main Location: 1418 W. Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive, Little Rock, AR 72202
Second Location: 1600 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., Little Rock, AR 72202
The center offers a wide range of free educational services designed to meet adult learners where they are and guide them toward success. These services include:
GED Preparation to help individuals earn their high school equivalency diploma
Employability and Workforce Skills training for job readiness
Basic Skills Improvement in reading, writing, and math
College Preparation to ease the transition into higher education
Refresher Courses for individuals returning to school or the workforce
Distance Education (Online Classes) for flexible learning opportunities
WAGE Certification to help adults build career-specific skill credentials
Through collaboration and partnership, Arkansas Baptist College's Adult Education program continues to make a meaningful impact in the community. The program works closely with workforce and community organizations to expand access to education and employment. The staff engages in meetings, basic skills preparation, testing, and client referrals—creating a seamless network of support for adult learners.
